Golden Ale

Did you know?

When Spain ceded the territory of Florida to the United States in 1821 it was considered a triumph of American diplomacy and created a new frontier in American expansion. Cigar City Brewing lauds this important year in Florida’s history with a crisp, flavorful American Golden Ale.

Brewed in collaboration with our friends at MacDinton’s Irish Pub and Yard of Ale, 1821 Golden Ale is brewed with American Willamette hops and pale wheat malt to create a low-alcohol American Golden Ale that balances bread-like malt flavors with herbaceous hops and a vibrant carbonation.

1821 Golden Ale celebrates good friends, great beer and independence!

Tasting Notes

Fresh baked bread, red apple and herbal hop aromas present themselves subtly on the nose while flavors of crackers and light pear-like fruitiness are punctuated by a floral hop presence and lively carbonation to create a crisp, quaffable Golden Ale.
