CCB Releases You Should Smile More 2022
Join us Friday, April 8 from 5 – 8 p.m. for the 2022 release of You Should Smile More, a collaborative Hoppy Saison brewed with the Florida chapter of the Pink Boots Society as a tribute to the women who make our industry run.
From the liquid to the label, this beer was designed by the women of CCB and collectively brewed by members of the Pink Boots Society Florida Chapter. You Should Smile More will be exclusively available in the Cigar City Brewing Spruce Street Taproom both on draft and in 4-packs of 16oz cans to go.
We’re thrilled to once again partner with the Pink Boots Society, an organization that seeks to “assist, inspire, and encourage women beer professionals through education.” The organization and its local chapters have done great work in advocating for women in professional brewing and we’re thrilled to work with them on this project.
To celebrate this special release, we’ll have a Pink Boots Society member social in the Spruce Street Taproom and will welcome all current and prospective members, as well as those who want to support. Attendees can mix and mingle with Florida Chapter members and learn more about this wonderful organization. Additionally, we’ll have beer-forward baked goods on hand from the Baking Brewer, a Pink Boots Society member, infusing tasty, sweet-treats with craft beer. You Should Smile More will be available for sampling and for purchase, and we will even have some special treated iterations in store so be sure to come give them a try.
“The first iteration of You Should Smile More came out right as the pandemic took over the word as we knew it and the second was smack-dab in the middle of it all,” said Amanda Milford, CCB Operations Planner. “Finally, this year we have the opportunity to release this year’s Pink Boots collab and celebrate the women here at CCB and women throughout the brewing industry. This event means even more because we will have active Pink Boots members there to not only raise a glass with us but to share what it is that the Pink Boots Society stands for and what the society does with the community.”
A portion from each sale of You Should Smile More will be donated to the Pink Boots Society organization, so be sure to take some home while supplies last and support a great cause.
