Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Marionberries, Figs and Cacao Nibs

EL CATADOR CLUB ONLY
Did you know?

El Catador Club 10th Edition Exclusive

This Russian Imperial Stout is dedicated to Georgy Zhukov, arguably one of the finest generals of World War II, and to the victory parade through Moscow’s Red Square over which Zhukov presided in June, 1945. What better way to celebrate the defeat of fascism than with a heroic Imperial Stout brewed with Marionberry, figs and cacao nibs that’s been aged in American bourbon barrels.

Tasting Notes

Bakers chocolate, cacao nibs and molasses aromas mingle with a light raspberry-like fruitiness and rustic wood notes on the nose. Viscous yet balanced, this Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout begins with semisweet chocolate and tobacco notes that give way to blackberry and black raspberry flavors, then evolves into pronounced bourbon-like flavors of vanilla, caramel and apricot.
