Cognac and Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout with Cinnamon, Vanilla, Cacao, and Chile peppers

Did you know?

El Catador Club 15th Edition Exclusive

Cognac and bourbon barrel-aged imperial stout with cinnamon, Madagascar and Mexican vanilla, Bolivian and Ugandan cacao, and Chile peppers.

Let us celebrate Leto, the mother of the twins Artemis and Apollo, with this legendary beer that calls to mind Hero Twins of other mythological traditions. Its entrancing flavor profile owes as much to cognac and bourbon barrels as it does to its unmistakable melange of adjuncts.

Tasting Notes

Enjoy sweet aromas of chocolate fudge and vanilla when the first bottle cap of El Catador Club is opened. Taste dark fruits including cherry and fig from the Cognac complementing the notes from the chili peppers. Layered throughout the brew are flavors of cinnamon and bourbon wood spice. Leto has a smooth mouthfeel, but as it warms, the alcohol arrives on the palate.
