Ikebana Rice Lager

Japanese-style Rice Lager

Did you know?

Inspired by the dry, crisp lagers of Japan and the thoughtful arrangement of decorative flowers, Cigar City Brewing is proud to introduce Ikebana Rice Lager.

Much likeikebana, the Japanese art of flower arranging, Ikebana Rice Lageris concerned with subtlety, nuance and balance. Flaked rice is added to a base of Pils malt, after which Saaz hops are added for a snappy bitterness and spicy quality. Extensive lagering with a German lager yeast results in a dry, crisp and delicate lager that’s the perfect accompaniment to sushi, salads and sunshine.
