Maple Wood-aged India Pale Ale with Orange Peel

Did you know?

Homefront IPA was created in 2011 by craft brewers with one goal in mind: to honor and support the men and women of America’s armed forces. Homefront is aged on donated Louisville Slugger maple bats, brewed with donated hops from Yakima’s Puterbaugh Farms and infused with fresh orange peel. In 2016, a minimum of $150,000 from the sale of this beer will be donated to Soldiers Angels, an organization providing aid andcomfort to the men and women of our country’s armed forces.

Tasting Notes

Aromas of wood, pine needles and bread crust. Flavors of caramel and bright citrus are enhanced by the use of maple wood, which imparts cake-like notes and balanced by assertive hop bitterness.
