Brew with the Big Rig Pat Maroon, What's Next

Following Pat’s employment trial run this off-season, Big Rig Pat Maroon agreed to help us out and give brewing another try! If you missed it, we ran an exciting sweepstakes where one lucky winner would have the opportunity to conceptualize, brew and share a new CCB beer in collaboration with Tampa Bay Lightning star shooter, Pat Maroon. After collecting almost one thousand Florida entries, a random winner was drawn.

Our grand prize winner and neighbor to the brewery, Tyler D., came over with a love for our Hazy IPA, Fancy Papers. CCB’s beloved Florida Man, Pat Maroon, is branching out in styles, but still enjoys a light lager and clean pallet.

Tyler, Pat, and our brewers put their heads together and tested their taste buds to line up a recipe for a session Hazy IPA with tropical notes from Nectaron and Idaho 7 hops, paired with a light malt characteristic. A brew that is crushable and padded up flavor and aromas. Check out how this collaboration brew came to fruition.

After suiting up to brew and imagining how the custom beer can label would look, Tyler and Pat decided on Tarps Off, a Hazy IPA.
