Cherry cordial and roasted coffee aromas entice the nose, while flavors of roasted coffee and dark fruit flavors allow raspberry flavor and acidity cut through the beer’s dark chocolate and black licorice flavors. Alcohol warmth and carbonation add texture while oxygen ingress through barrel aging tempers some of the beers roastiness and enhances plum and date notes.
